We are looking for an experienced hospitality / tasting room manager and wine sales professional to help drive consumer sales and build customer loyalty while managing our by-appointment sit-down style Tasting Salon.

DUTIES

As the Sojourn Cellars Hospitality Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Tasting Salon operations and providing guests with an outstanding experience and developing relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. You will also help plan and coordinate business development efforts, outreach and support other direct sales and marketing activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for wine. You must be self-motivated and enjoy working with the public and providing exceptional customer service. The Sojourn Tasting Salon Manager will be responsible for supervising the Sojourn wine educators and maintaining a culture of exceptional hospitality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous wine sales experience required
  • 3-4 year experience managing a tasting room
  • Proven track record performing outreach and business development for a tasting room
  • Flexible to work weekdays and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of wine and local industry
  • Effective at promoting sales and representing a luxury brand
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to proactively address issues with minimal supervision
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Email, and the Internet
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
